IBERMEDIA NEXT is an initiative of the IBERMEDIA Program aimed at applying new technologies in the field of digital animation and audiovisual content with a high percentage of animation. To be eligible for this aid, co-development between Spanish, Portuguese or Italian production companies with Latin American individuals or legal entities from Member States of the IBERMEDIA Program will be necessary.

In 2012, the San Sebastian Festival launched the first Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum. Its priority objectives are to promote the development of audiovisual projects, encourage collaboration between professionals and enhance their access to new international markets.

MIPCOM - Cannes
During the workshop, the initial idea and motivation, point of view, narrative structure and creative vision of the projects under development will be worked on, with the aim of promoting their insertion in the national and international market. One of IndieLab's priorities is to work on projects whose characters or themes belong to or are related in some way to diverse/minority identity groups, in order to foster dialogues about inclusion and a better representation of these characters in the cinema.
