Chilean projects, directed by filmmakers of Chilean nationality and filmed mostly in national territory, may apply. Projects that have participated in previous calls will not be able to apply, unless the application is for a different category. Directors who have made at least one short film in the last 5 years and are preparing their first feature film or have released a first feature film and are preparing a second feature film may apply. The selected projects must comply with attendance at all program activities, as well as guarantee the timely delivery of the materials requested from them.

SOUTHERN ENCOUNTERS - Fic Valdivia - Development
BUSINESS TABLES is a competition category for projects in development that are created in Latin America and require co-production. FICVIÑA, through its industry area, invites applications for fiction and non-fiction feature films from any country in Latin America or in co-production with the continent, that have works in the development stage, that have a finished script, 20% of the secured financing and that consider having a minimum duration of 70 minutes.

Within the framework of the 11th Antofagasta/Chile International Film Festival, ANTOFACINE, the third edition of AntofaLAB, a project laboratory whose objective is to promote productions made in the northern zone of Chile (Antofagasta, Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Atacama, Coquimbo), and in the bordering countries of northern Chile (Peru, Bolivia and Argentina).

ANTOFALAB
Euro CineLab 2025 is a training and production lab aimed at emerging and self-taught filmmakers from Central America, organized by Cineuropa in collaboration with the European Union Delegations in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. The program focuses on short film production, with the central theme being "self-portrait." Participants will receive 40 hours of theoretical and practical online training over ten days in March 2025. Through this lab, filmmakers will learn how to develop a short film between three and ten minutes long. The five best works from the 25 selected, one from each country, will receive a 500 € prize and be screened at European film festivals held in each nation. Additionally, festival audiences will have the chance to vote for the Audience Award. This project provides a unique opportunity for emerging filmmakers to gain professional experience and showcase their work in an international setting.

Euro CineLab
Taller de Revisión de Guion es un laboratorio que brinda a cineastas independientes de todo el mundo la oportunidad de trabajar intensamente en sus guiones narrativos de largometrajes en un entorno estructurado para fomentar la colaboración profesional y el desarrollo de guiones de alta calidad. El laboratorio consta de un taller residencial de dos semanas y una sesión de seguimiento en línea de dos días.
El laboratorio está dirigido por profesionales en el campo con una larga experiencia. Además de la guía del guión proporcionada por el facilitador a través de sesiones de taller y reuniones individuales, los participantes tienen tiempo suficiente para escribir. El laboratorio ofrece a los participantes la oportunidad de trabajar sus proyectos con otros cineastas internacionales, ser parte de una comunidad de artistas con ideas afines y acceder a la red profesional de cine Cine Qua Non Lab.
